Valera, Sullivan post top 20 finishes at Southland Championships

NEW BRAUNFELS, TX- The Bryant University Women's Golf team finished in 6th place this week at the Southland Conference Championships. Jenelle Valera finished 19th and Erin Sullivan tied for 20th overall.

Par 71, 6,274  Yards

Notes and Notables:

• Valera played an excellent two rounds to open competition shooting 75 (+4) in the first round and a 79 (+8) in round two. After day two she was tied for 8th place. 

• Sullivan closed out the tournament with an excellent performance on the third day of competition. She would improve by five strokes and record a 77 (+6) to close out her spring. 

• Sydney Craven placed just outside the top 25 after finishing play +38. Her best round came in round one when she shot an 81 (+10)

• Caroline Petchark closed out her collegiate career with an outstanding performance on day three. She would record a 77 (+6) in her final round, improving by 13 strokes from the first day.

• Clara Hosman finished her senior season with a low round of 80 on day two. She finished play in 28th place.
