HEALY ON BAKER: A starter as a rookie, Mackenzie brings personality and defensive awareness to our team. Look for her to emerge as a vocal leader on defense in her sophomore campaign.

2010: Started all 16 games for the Bulldogs at defense... Caused 12 turnovers on the season, including setting a new career mark with three against both LIU and Saint Francis (PA)... Scooped up 18 ground balls on her sophomore season... Recorded six draw controls wins with two coming against Robert Morris at home to set a new career high... Fired one shot on goal.

2009: Played in 15 games as a freshman, starting in 12 on the year... Racked up 16 ground balls as a defender, including a season-high five against Long Island... Also added a draw control against LIU... Recorded three ground balls against Sacred Heart and two against Louisville and Central Connecticut... Forced two turnovers against Saint Francis (PA).

Before Bryant: A 2008 graduate of Bayport-Blue Point High School... Three-sport athlete competing in field hockey, winter track and lacrosse... Four-year varsity lacrosse starter... Suffolk County Lacrosse Coaches Association All-Tournament Award... Four-time Scholar-Athlete Award winner... All-Division Suffolk County selection in lacrosse... Earned the Coaches Award in field hockey... Four-year honor roll student.

Personal: Born January 23, 1990... Daughter of William and Danene Baker... Has one brother, Billy... Plans to study communications in the College of Arts and Sciences.
