HEALY ON FILIPPONE: With a year of experience under her belt, Lauren will once again look to make an impact between the pipes. Her quickness and fearless style of play will be relied upon this season to keep momentum on our side.

In the record books: Filippone has already put a mark on the Bryant women's lacrosse team and is on pace to become one of the best netminder's the program has ever seen... SINGLE-GAME RECORDS: tied for third in saves (17 at Mount St. Mary's, April 11, 2010; vs. Villanova, Feb. 27, 2010); tied for ninth in saves (15 at Monmouth, April 9, 2010)... SINGLE-SEASON RECORDS: first in saves per game (11.12, 2010); tied for first in saves (178, 2010); fourth in ground balls per game (3.69, 2010); fifth in ground balls (59, 2010); sixth in save percentage (.468, 2010); tied for sixth in caused turnovers per game (1.69, 2010); eighth in goals against average (14.45, 2010); tied for ninth in caused turnovers (27, 2010); tenth in saves (86, 2009), saves per game (6.62, 2009) and goals against average (16.39, 2009)... CAREER RECORDS: first in saves per game (9.10); second in save percentage (.442); third in saves (264); fourth in ground balls per game (2.53); fifth in goals against average (15.16) and caused turnovers per game (1.13).

2010: Appeared in all 16 games, starting 14 as the No. 1 goalie for the Bulldogs... Tied the single-season mark for saves with 178... Boasted a .468 save percentage and 14.45 goals against average in 838:37 between the pipes... Led the team in ground balls with 59... Second on the squad in caused turnovers with 27 on the season... Allowed 202 goals on 493 shots faced... Finished the year with a 2-13 record.

2009: Played in 13 games and earned seven starts in goal for the Bulldogs... Posted a 1-7 record with a 16.39 GAA and .396 save percentage... Made season-high 11 saves against Boston College on April 17... Recorded 10 saves on three occasions (Saint Francis (PA), LIU, Villanova)... Held Howard to just four goals to earn her only win of the year.

Before Bryant: A 2008 graduate of West Babylon High School... Three-year lacrosse letterwinner... All-county honorable mention choice in 2008... Named an Academic All-American as a senior... All-division selection in 2007... Was a three-sport athlete at West Babylon, also lettering two years in both soccer and basketball... Participated in DECA and mock trials... Honor roll student.

Personal: Born April 12, 1990... Daughter of Joseph and Donna Filippone... Has a sister, Alexis, and a brother, Vincent, who plays lacrosse at NYIT... Double majors in accounting and economics in the College of Business.
