HEALY ON MANZI: An experienced sophomore, Kayla's strength and speed will be the catalyst of our attack. Look for her on draw controls and to emerge as a leader this spring.

In the record books: With two years still to play, Manzi has already started to make a mark in the program records... SINGLE-GAME RECORDS: tied for third in free-position goals (2 vs. Wagner, April 3, 2010)... CAREER RECORDS: sixth in draw controls per game (1.50).

2010: Appeared in 13 games with 12 starts as a sophomore... Finished the year fifth on the team in a number of categories, including scoring (16 points), goals (11) and assists (5)... Was second on the team with 21 draw controls, winning a season-high four against Central Connecticut in her first appearance of the season... Finished the campaign with 12 ground balls and five caused turnovers... Recorded four free-position goals and let off 39 shots (30 on goal).

2009: Saw action in 13 games as a freshman and started in seven... Earned only goal of the season in win over Central Connecticut on April 1... Registered four ground balls and 18 draw controls on the year... Season-best five draws vs. Villanova in season finale... Won four draw controls against Central Connecticut.

Before Bryant: A 2008 graduate of Agawam High School... Played four years of lacrosse and soccer... All-league selection in soccer... All-Western Massachusetts and all-scholastic selections in lacrosse... Nominated for lacrosse All-American.

Personal: Born September 19, 1990... Daughter of Anthony and Sandra Manzi... Has a brother, Anthony, and a sister, Tiffany, who played lacrosse at Quinnipiac University from 2006-09... Plans to study communications or marketing.
