HEALY ON PICKETT: We anticipate Maddie to be an immediate impact player in her freshman campaign. She is a hard-working, coachable player with a graceful style of play and a high lacrosse IQ who will be looked upon to contribute in the midfield this year.

2010: Appeared in 15 games as a freshman, earning a trio of starts... Scored four goals and added three assists on her rookie campaign to finish second among all freshman in scoring... Scored twice at home against Robert Morris on April 16... Scored single tallies in back-to-back outings against conference rivals Quinnipiac and Sacred Heart... Collected a pair of helpers against Long Island and another in the season finale against Saint Francis (PA)... Fired 18 shots with 12 going on goal... Picked up 12 ground balls, won nine draw controls and caused a trio of turnovers.

Before Bryant: A 2009 graduate of St. Thomas Aquinas High School, Picket was a four-year varsity letterwinner in both lacrosse and soccer... Four-year starter in lacrosse... Team captain as a junior and senior... Led team to state finals as a junior and a final four appearance as a sophomore... Named a first team all-state selection... Set program record for career points... Graduated third all-time in goals scored (105)... Played for Fosters Dream Team... Led St. Thomas Aquinas soccer to a state championship as a sophomore... Captained the soccer team as a senior... Soccer club team won two state championships in the U.S. Youth National Soccer Tournament... Played for Seacoast United Lacrosse Club.
