Bio

As a junior: Emerged as one of the best players in the NEC in 2013, appearing in and starting all 18 games for the Bulldogs … Posted 44 goals and seven assists for 51 points on her way to Second Team All-NEC honors … Also earned NEC All-Tournament team honors … Finished second on the team in goals and points, and led the team with 19 free position goals … Ranked first in the NEC in free position goals per game (1.06) and third in the NEC in goals per game (2.44) … Her 44 goals are the second-most in a single season in Division I history … Also collected 26 draw controls, picked up 32 ground balls and caused 26 turnovers, finishing second on the team in all three categories … Registered eight hat tricks on the year and three four-goal games … Scored at least one goal and recorded at least one point in all 18 games … Opened the season with a pair of free-position goals against Holy Cross (2/13) … Followed with a four-point (3g, 1a) outing against Siena (2/19) in which she collected two ground balls and two draw controls … Registered four-straight two-goal games from 3/2-3/19 … Recorded her first four-goal game of the season against Robert Morris (3/22) … Netted just one goal against Saint Francis (3/24) but collected a season-high four ground balls and caused three turnovers … Notched four goals, picked up two ground balls, collected two draw controls and caused three turnovers against Central Connecticut (4/5) … Recorded three or more points in each of the final five games of the season … Posted hat tricks in each of the final three games, scoring three against Mount St. Mary’s (4/21), four in Bryant’s NEC semi-final win over CCSU (4/26) and three more against Monmouth (4/28) in the NEC title game.

Scored a career-best three points against LIU Brooklyn (1g, 2a) ...  Fired 24 shots with 17 going on goal ... Netted the game winner April 13 against Saint Francis (PA) ... Scooped up 15 ground balls with 11 draw controls and six caused turnovers on the season.

As a freshman: One of just four rookies to start all 16 games in 2011 ... Put up 14 goals, scoring in nine contests ... Notched the game winner in the season finale at Long Island ... Fired 36 shots with 25 on goal ... Went 4-for-12 on free position attempts ... Picked up 11 ground balls ... Forced eight caused turnovers and won 23 draw controls, good for fourth and third on the team, respectively.

Before Bryant: A 2010 graduate of Joel Barlow High School, Sniffen was a four-year varsity starter in lacrosse and soccer ... Earned a Connecticut Post All-Area selection as a senior ... 2010 all-conference, all-area and second team all-state selection ...
