Cronin named to the 2016 IWLCA Zag Sports Division I Academic Honor Roll

SMITHFIELD, R.I. – Bryant University women's lacrosse junior defender Carly Cronin (Feeding Hills, Mass.) has been named to the 2016 Zag Sports Division I Academic Honor Roll, as announced by the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association on Thursday.

The IWLCA honored student-athletes from 96 different institutions with inclusion in the 2016 IWLCA Zag Sports Division I Academic Honor Roll. In order to be eligible for the honor, student-athletes had to be a junior, senior, or graduate student and have earned a cumulative academic GPA of 3.50 or greater.

Cronin is one of 23 athletes out of the Northeast Conference to earn the recognition. The Feeding Hills, Mass., native appeared in and started 17 games in 2016. She was selected to the All-NEC First Team for a second-straight year and finished second on the Bulldogs with 20 caused turnovers, 33 ground balls and 29 draw controls.
