After career night, Brown selected as NEC Player of the Week

SOMERSET, N.J. – After setting a new career-high over the weekend, senior Catlin Brown (San Diego, Calif.) was named Northeast Conference Player of the Week, the league announced on Monday.

Brown powered Bryant's offense on Friday night, scoring five goals and dishing out three assists in the Bulldogs' 22-3 victory over Central Connecticut to open Bryant's Northeast Conference schedule. She also helped secure control of the game during a 6:08 stretch in which she either scored or assisted on the Bulldogs' five goals during that span.

She also matched her career highs in goals (five) and assists (three) during the game, both of which were set during the 2016 season. Brown has come on strong, as the conference season has begun, totaling 13 points in her last two games.

The Bulldogs continue their conference slate this weekend, playing host to Sacred Heart on Friday afternoon and heading to Brooklyn for a Sunday battle with LIU Brooklyn.
