THE SERIES
The Bulldogs and Great Danes are meeting for the fourth time Tuesday. Albany took the first two contests in 2013 and 2014 before renewing the series in 2018. Bryant picked up a 16-6 win in last year's season opener at the Bryant Track & Turf Complex with four goals from Jess DeMeo (Mount Sinai, N.Y.) and three each from Caitlin Breglia (Long Beach, N.Y.) and Meredith James (Essex Fells, N.J.)

SCOUTING THE GREAT DANES
Albany is 2-0 in its first season under head coach Katie Rowan with wins over Yale and Bucknell. The Great Danes are averaging 16.5 goals per game in their first two contests of the year.

Kendra Harbinger leads Albany in goals (9) and points (10), while Sam Tortora has added a team-high five asssists. Erin Leghart and Georgia Schneidereith have split the majority of time in goal for the Great Danes.

HELLO AGAIN
Albany head coach Katie Rowan will be a familiar foe to the Bryant sideline Tuesday. Rowan arrived in Albany over the summer after spending the last three seasons at Wagner, the Bulldogs' opponent in the NEC title game in all three seasons.

SIX BULLDOGS MAKE DEBUTS IN OPENER
The Feb. 15 game vs. UMass saw the collegiate debuts of six Bryant players: sophomore Shea Farrell (Westwood, Mass.) and freshmen Kaitlyn Birnbohm-Kaminski (Southampton, N.J.), Brianna Blatter (Port Jefferson Station, N.Y.), Emily Diaz (Selden, N.Y.), Hannah Field (Watervliet, N.Y.) and Alexa Weber (South Windsor, Conn.)

DeMEO RISING IN RECORD BOOKS
Senior Jess DeMeo has her sights set on a pair of program scoring records. DeMeo needs 26 goals to break Bryant's all-time goals mark of 177 set by Lauren Descalzo and 22 points to pass Descalzo's D1 points record of 196.

SIBLING RIVALRY
Senior Lauren Britton (Monmouth Beach, N.J.) needs 52 draw controls to surpass the Bryant all-time career record set by her older sister, Nicole, who collected 171 from 2013-16. Lauren Britton's 77 draw controls in 2018 best the single-season best of Nicole, who tallied 53 as both a sophomore and senior.

BUNNY HOPPING UP THE ALL-TIME DC LIST
Senior Meredith James' 92 draw controls in 2018 - the most in a single-season in program history - catapulted her to fourth in Bryant's Division I era in career draw controls. James enters Tuesday with 105 for her career.

THE LONG RHODE
Bryant is one of seven Division I teams with 10 or more players from Long Island. The Bulldogs' group of 10 from across the Sound includes Bryant's top two players in points from a year ago, senior Jess DeMeo of Mount Sinai and junior Caitlin Breglia of Long Beach.

FOLLOW THE LEADER
Prior to the season, Coach Roche named the Bulldogs' three captains for the 2019 season: seniors Lauren Britton and Jess DeMeo and junior Katherine Clark (New Fairfield, Conn.). The Bulldogs will also employ a Senior Leadership Group consisting of Emma Ahlrichs (Zionsville, Ind.), Meredith James and Jasmine Perkins (West Babylon, N.Y.) to help lead the Black & Gold off the field.

UP NEXT: BROWN
Bryant will have another week between games before traveling down Route 146 to face Brown Wednesday, March 6, on ESPN+.
