SCOUTING THE FRESNO STATE BULLDOGS
Fresno State is 6-3 on the year and has had a 12-day layoff after wins over Radford and Quinnipiac. The Bulldogs and Bulldogs share two mutual opponents with both teams defeating Stetson and losing to Jacksonville.

Fresno State has three 20-goal scorers, led by Sydney Skalstad's 22. Tiffiny Wallace has recorded a team-high 31 points on 21 goals and 10 assists. Laurel Maunder has played all but 13 minutes in goal, recording a .508 save percentage.

THE SERIES
The teams are meeting for the second time in program history and first since 2011. Bryant won that meeting in Fresno 9-7 behind three goals each from Katherine Keckeisen and Lisa Vendel.

LAST TIME OUT: UCONN 15, BRYANT 8
Senior Jess DeMeo (Mount Sinai, N.Y.) scored four goals to lead the Bulldog offense, but a solid performance by the UConn defense held Bryant off the board for 32 minutes and allowed the Huskies to build a seven-goal lead to proved to be the final margin.

DeMEO BREAKS ONE RECORD, AIMS FOR ANOTHER
Senior Jess DeMeo passed Lauren Descalzo for Bryant's Division I career points record in Tuesday's game at UConn. DeMeo's four-goal performance brought her to 199 career points.

DeMeo needs two goals to match Descalzo's program career record of 177.

THE YOUNGER SIBLING ALWAYS WINS
Senior Lauren Britton (Monmouth Beach, N.J.) passed her older sister Nicole for Bryant's program record with her 172nd career draw control Tuesday at UConn. The Britton sisters were teammates in 2016 when Nicole set the record.

DeMEO'S BIG DAY EARNS NEC HONOR
Senior Jess DeMeo scored six goals and collected a career-high five ground balls in the win over Canisius, earning NEC Co-Player of the Week recognition. DeMeo matched Lauren Descalzo's Division I program career points record of 195 in the victory.

WE'LL TAKE TWO
Sophomore Natalie Langella (Northport, N.Y.) has scored two or more goals in six of her last seven games, highlighted by a career-high five in the win at Stetson. Langella is tied for second on the Bulldogs this season in goals (16) and third in points (19).

PRESS 37 FOR ASSISTANCE
Junior Maggie Pressler (Smithfield, R.I.) has recorded 10 assists on the year, more than doubling her career output entering the season. Pressler ranks eighth in the NEC in assists.

UP NEXT: SACRED HEART
Bryant opens NEC play Friday, April 5, when the Bulldogs travel to Sacred Heart. The 3 p.m. opening draw can be seen on NEC Front Row.
