Piercy Named NEC Rookie of the Week

SOMERSET, N.J.- Bryant women's lacrosse freshman Amelia Piercy has been named NEC Rookie of the Week for her performance at New Hampshire. It is her first career conference honor.

Piercy scored three goals for her first career hat trick against the Wildcats, adding a pair of ground balls and causing one turnover. On the season, Piercy has scored five goals on seven shots and has recorded four ground balls, two draw controls, and caused two turnovers.

Alexa Weber was also named an NEC Prime Performer this week as well. She scored three goals and had two assists for a season high five total points against UNH.
