Centofante Named NEC Co-Defensive Player of the Week

SOMERSET, N.J.- Sophomore goalkeeper Sam Centofante of the Bryant women's lacrosse team has been named NEC Co-Defensive Player of the Week for the first time in her career. She registered 17 total saves and allowed only eleven goals in the Bulldogs' wins this week over Sacred Heart and LIU.

Centofante anchored the Bulldog defense during two of their best performances of the season. She posted a career high 64.3% save percentage against SHU, saving nine shots and allowing a season low five goals. She also had eight saves and six goals allowed against LIU to round out the week.

Kenna Kaut and Skylar Simmonds were also named Prime Performers this week. Kaut finished with eight goals and nine total points while Simmonds had five goals and seven total points.
