Women's Lacrosse Announces 2023 Schedule

SMITHFIELD, R.I.- Bryant women's lacrosse coach Brianna Roche has announced the team's 2023 schedule. The Bulldogs will play 14 regular season games, including six on their first slate of America East competition.

Bryant will open with three straight home games, taking on Holy Cross, Merrimack, and Lafayette on February 15, 18, and 25. The Bulldogs will then embark on a seven-game road trip spanning the entire month of March, starting with a trip to New Hampshire to face Dartmouth to open the month. They will follow with Quinnipiac on the fourth and Long Island on the 11th before visiting Vermont to open conference play on the 18th.

The Bulldogs will return to Rhode Island to play Brown for the Ocean State Cup on the 22nd before rounding out their barnstorming tour with trips to UMass Lowell and UMBC on March 25 and April 1.

The team's first America East home game will come April 8 when they host Binghamton. Two more road games will follow with New Hampshire on the 15th and non-conference Stonehill on the 19th before the regular season comes to a close with Senior Day on the 29th vs. UAlbany. The America East Championships will take place May 4-6, hosted by the highest seed.

The Bulldogs will face two brand-new opponents in 2023; they will play Dartmouth and UMBC each for the first time in program history. Their matchup with Stonehill will also be the first at the Division I level.

Bryant enters its first season as an America East member with momentum, coming off a successful 2022 campaign that saw the Bulldogs claim their sixth NEC regular season crown and host the conference championships. The Bulldogs will be led in the new league by last season's NEC Offensive Player of the Year in Kenna Kaut, Rookie of the Year Jessica Colalillo, and Coach of the Year Brianna Roche.
