Bulldogs Traveling to LIU on Saturday

BROOKVILLE, N.Y.- The Bryant University women's lacrosse team will face a familiar foe when they head south to take on former NEC rival Long Island on Saturday. The Bulldogs are in the midst of a four-game road trip, one that has seen them split the opening two games against Dartmouth and Quinnipiac.

Bulldog Notes and Notables

  • Kenna Kaut is the nation's leading scorer at 4.80 goals per game. She scored a career-high eight two weeks ago against Lafayette, and has scored multiple goals in 26 consecutive games dating to her freshman season in 2021.

  • Emily Oliver is second in America East and sixth nationally with 5.40 points per game. She has scored at least five points in every game this season and has three games with either four goals or four assists.

  • The Bulldogs lead the America East in team scoring with 14.80 goals per game. They are also the league leaders in points and assists.

Scouting the Sharks

  • Long Island is 2-5 to start the 2023 season, including wins over Vermont and Quinnipiac. The Sharks were 6-12 in 2022, including a 5-3 mark in the NEC.

  • Player to Watch: Senior Hanna Kenneally leads the NEC with 1.86 assists per game. She also scored the game-winning goal in overtime against Vermont on February 22.

  • Bryant is 13-2 all-time against LIU. The Bulldogs defeated the Sharks twice last season, including a 20-6 win in the NEC semifinals at Beirne Stadium.
