Kaut Named America East Offensive Player of the Week

BOSTON, Mass.- Junior attack Kenna Kaut has been named America East Offensive Player of the Week, as announced by the conference on Monday. She is the second straight Bulldog to earn the honor, after Emily Oliver last week.

This is Kaut's first weekly honor of the season. She tied a season and career high with eight goals in Bryant's 13-12 win over UMBC on Saturday, including four in the fourth quarter of a 13-12 win. She converted on eight of ten shots on goal and added three ground balls and three draw controls in the game.

Kaut enters the second half of America East play as the second leading scorer in the country at 4.60 goals per game. She leads the conference in goals, shots on goal, and free position percentage and is second in points and shot percentage. She has scored four or more goals in all but four games this year and has five games with five or more scores.

Kaut and the Bulldogs will look for three straight conference wins this Saturday when they host Binghamton. First draw is set for 12:00 pm at Beirne Stadium.
