Kaut, DeGeorge, Ford Earn All-America East Honors

BOSTON, Mass.- Three members of the Bryant women's lacrosse team have earned All-America East honors, as announced by the conference on Thursday. Kenna Kaut was named to the first team, while Emily DeGeorge and Kelly Ford were named All-Rookie.

Kaut was one of the nation's top offensive threats in 2023, ranking in the nation's top ten in goals throughout the season. Her 3.86 goals per game were the most in the America East, seventh most nationally, and set a new Bryant program record for a single season. She finished with 54 total goals, the most in the conference and fifth most in program history, and became the third player in program history with multiple 50-goal seasons.

Kaut's eight goals against both Lafayette and UMBC were the most in a game by an America East player this year and second most in program history. She concludes her third season in Smithfield as the program's all-time leader in goals per game; her three goals per game for her career are the most in program history and tenth among active Division I players. Her 120 career goals are currently the fifth most in Bryant history.

DeGeorge played in all 14 games, starting nine. She led Bryant freshmen with five goals and 28 draw controls and added seven ground balls and five caused turnovers. Her eight draw controls on March 11 against Lafayette tied for the most by a Bulldog in a game this year.

Ford played in all 14 games and started 11. She ranked second on the team and first among freshmen with 20 ground balls and nine caused turnovers. She had seven games with multiple ground balls and a pair of games with two caused turnovers, and recorded her first career point with an assist against Binghamton on April 8.
