Coach's comments on the team's performance...

"Our defense really sparked our team today, coming up with crucial stops that led to extra offensive opportunities. Both units were very balanced, with big plays coming from lots of different people."

Coach's comments on individual performances...

"Maddie Henry had a huge game. She's always a big voice on defense and today she made momentum shifting plays. Peyton Woodward flew under the radar today with three goals and three assists. She plays to others' strengths so well and gives us the ability to be a multi-threat attack."

How it Happened

Quarter 1: The Black and Gold scored less than two minutes into the game and went up 2-0 before Lafayette evened the score. Bryant, however, answered back with two more tallies to make the score going into the second 4-2.
Quarter 2: Sam Centofante and the Bryant defense remained stout in the second, not allowing a goal in the quarter. The offense used that to their advantage and converted three more goals to bring the score to 7-2.
Quarter 3: The Leopards closed the gap in the third, responding to Bryant's three goals in the beginning of the quarter with three of their own to end the period.
Quarter 4: After allowing three to end the third, the Bulldogs responded by starting the fourth with a four goal run spanning six minutes. The Leopards then had a 2-1 advantage in the last eight minutes to make the final score to 15-7.
