Coach's comments on the win…
"Today was a great team win as both units followed the plan and executed. We had some people really step up, particularly Peyton Woodward on attack and Jessica Tosone on defense. We are looking forward to keeping our momentum going into our next conference game."

Quarter 2: The Bulldogs took charge in the second quarter and tallied seven goals to Vermont's three to go into the second half with all the momentum and a 10-5 lead.
Quarter 3: Vermont tried to stay in the game in the third, keeping even with the Black and Gold as both sides scored three a piece to make the score 13-8.
Quarter 4: Bryant was having none of it though and racked up eight more goals, which included a seven goal run, in the fourth to put the game out of reach and away.

Notes and Notables

  • Peyton Woodward had her way with the Vermont defense as she tallied six goals and two assists for eight points in the contest. With her outstanding performance, Woodward set new career highs for herself in goals and points.
  • Kenna Kaut's five goals for five points on the day brought her career point total to 200, making her the fourth player in program history to hit the milestone.
  • With the milestone, Kaut also becomes just the second player in program history and the only player in Division I program history to record 200 career points and 100 career draw controls. The only other player to accomplish the feat was Hall of Famer Shaun Leddy '07 (249 points, 144 draw controls).
  • Both Woodward and Kaut only missed one shot each. Woodward's six goals came on seven shots while Kaut's five came on six shots.
  • This is the first time that the Black and Gold have cracked 20 goals in an America East game. It is the second time this season the squad has reached the 20 goal mark. They also did so against LIU in a 20-9 win.
  • In addition to Woodward and Kaut, five other Bulldogs joined in on the scoring action in the game. Amelia Piercy, Elise Larsen, Emily DeGeorge, and Gabriella Constant all tallied two goals. Phoebe Fox also scored her first goal of the season in the victory.
  • Elise Larsen had the only other assist besides Woodward's two. Larsen also had a hand in the squad's team goal as she forced the turnover that landed the ball in the back of the net.
  • Defender Jessica Tosone had a game to remember as well. Her team leading four caused turnovers was a new career high for the sophomore.
  • Bryant out shot Vermont on the afternoon, 32-21, while Vermont had the slight advantage on ground balls, 13-10, and draw controls, 18-17.
  • Goalkeeper Sam Centofante made 10 saves in between the pipes for the Black and Gold.
