Kacie Lewis enters her second season as Associate Head Coach of the Bryant University women's lacrosse program in 2020.

Lewis began as the assistant coach of the Bulldogs with primary responsibilities as the defensive coordinator before being promoted in January of 2021 to Associate Head Coach. The new role expands her responsibilities in the areas of recruiting and administration.

During Lewis's first season with the Black and Gold, the Bulldogs tallied four wins over Quinnipiac, Vermont, Manhattan, and UMass Lowell before the short six-game season was cut short just before the completion of spring break.

"Kacie has done a great job during her time here at Bryant as our Defensive Coordinator & Recruiting Coordinator," said head coach Brianna Roche. She is in her eighth year of coaching at the Division I level and is both a highly qualified and sought after coach. In her new role, she’ll take on additional administrative responsibilities and expand our recruiting network. She’s an outstanding staff member and a wonderful asset to our program."

Lewis comes to Bryant after spending the last two seasons at her alma mater, the University of Connecticut. While at UConn, Lewis was responsible for the defensive unit and goalkeepers as the Defensive Coordinator, helping the Huskies' primary goalkeeper rank first in the American Athletic Conference for her saves per game average of 9.87. In addition to her defensive responsibilities, Lewis was also responsible for all team travel logistics, film, and team compliance. Before UConn, Lewis held a one-year stint as the First Assistant at Holy Cross before becoming the First Assistant at Cal Berkeley for three seasons.

In addition to her coaching resume, Lewis also helped coach numerous top collegiate camps including UConn, Cal Berkeley, USC, Michigan, Princeton, Georgetown, Brown, Stanford, Duke, Denver, Boston University, Northwestern, Holy Cross, Triple Threat, Top of the Class, and Northeast Top 215.

Lewis graduated from UConn in 2013 and was a four-year member of the women's lacrosse team. During her time as a Huskie, she led the team as a two-year captain during her junior and senior year. As a senior, she helped UConn to a school record of 13 wins and the program's first-ever trip to the NCAA Tournament. In her final season, Lewis served as an intern to UConn's head coach Katie Woods marking her start into collegiate coaching.
