Bulldog Rowing Completes First Spring Race at Amherst

AMHERST, Mass.- The Bryant women's rowing team competed in their first event of the spring season on Saturday, racing against Amherst, Smith College, and Franklin Pierce on the Connecticut River in Amherst.

The Bulldogs competed in the Varsity 8+ race, placing sixth out of seven boats with a time of 8:38.07. Gabi Martino, Erin Prouty, Megan Hart, Lucy Burke, Olivia Manuel, Mollie Lytje, Jordan Grady, Sunny Kuechle, and Ella Lopuchowycz manned the boat to Bryant's second official result as a Division I program, after competing at the Head of the Charles regatta in October.

The Bulldogs are back in action this Saturday at the RMU Invitational at Neville Island in Pittsburgh.
