Bio

2004 Seaosn Outlook: Named a tri-captain of the 2004 Bryant Bulldogs Women’s Soccer team. Is expected to be the starting goalie for the Bulldogs. Already Bryant’s all-time leader in wins with 25 and looking to add many more to her record this year.

As a Junior: Started in all but one of the Bulldog’s matches last year. Notched 74 saves,13 wins, and two ties while in goal. Had a save percentage of .796. Recorded nine shutouts in 2003. Also was named to the 2003 Verizon All-Academic Second Team.

As a Sophomore: Injured in the spring , and redshirted all of 2002.

As a Freshman: Saw action in 20 games including 19 starts. Set a school-record with 12 wins. Turned in back-to-back shutouts against New Haven 9/19/01 and at Southern New Hampshire 9/22/01. Earned a shutout at Saint Anselm 10/20/01. Named Northeast-10 freshman of the week 10/22/01. Shut out No. 13 Merrimack 11/7/03 for more than 35 minutes in first round of NCAA tournament. A Northeast-10 Gold Scholar who was also a Dean’s List student.

Before Bryant: Attended Sacred Heart Academy before transferring to Mount Hebron, where she was named second-team all-county and captain in her senior year. A Maryland Distinguished Scholar who graduated in the top five percent of her class.

Personal: Kimberly I. Rekart was born January 15, 1983. She is a double major in Computer Information Systems and Finance with a minor in Psychology. She is the daughter of Vickie and Thomas Rekart.
