Smithfield, R.I. – Senior captain Casey Grange (Methuen, Mass.) continued her outstanding start, breaking a scoreless tie with less than five minutes to play, to give 25th ranked Bryant its third straight win to start the 2006 season.

Grange took a feed from Kristin Fisher (Plymouth, Mass.) and lobbed it over Pace goaltender Jocelyne Durando to give Bryant the lead.

In just three games, Grange already has six tallies.

The Bulldogs dominated throughout the contest, outshooting Pace 16-2. Durando finished with 10 saves, while freshman Katie Mitchell (Deer Park, N.Y.) made two saves and improved her record to 2-0 on the season.

This matched featured outstanding defense from Danielle Malta (Bethel, Conn.).

Bryant (3-0, 1-0 NE-10) will visit American International Friday at 1 p.m.
