Four Different Bulldogs Score in 4-1 Victory Over American International

Springfield, Mass. -  The 25th ranked Bulldogs had four different players score in their 4-1 victory over American International. Senior captain Casey Grange (Methuen, Mass.) continued her fast start to the 2006 campaign, scoring her seventh goal while adding two assists for the 4-0 Bulldogs.

Freshmen Holly Tyser (Somers, Conn.) and Ryann Healy (Candia, N.H.) scored their first collegiate goals. Healy also added an assist.

Amy Orzechowski (Milford, Conn.) opened the scoring in the 13th minute, scoring on a deflection. Grange picked up the assist.

The score remained 1-0 until Grange added an insurance tally in the 73rd minute.

American (0-2, 0-2 NE-10) cut the lead to 2-1 four minutes later, but Tyser and Healy scored nine minutes apart to put the match away.

Jessica Neales (Swansea, Mass.) made three saves for the Bulldogs, improving her record to 2-0.

The Bulldogs will go for their fifth straight win when they visit Adelphi Sunday (3 p.m.)
