Spada's Penalty-Kick is the Difference in 1-0 Win
Lakewood, N.J. - The Bryant University Women's Soccer team won its third straight match Saturday afternoon, defeating Georgian Court 1-0 Saturday afternoon.
Tricia Spada (Dedham, Mass.) scored in the 67th minute on a penalty kick, after Georgian Court goaltender Lindsay Hammond was whistled for a foul.
It was Spada's third goal of the season.
The Bulldogs outshot their opponents 22-7 in the match, with Casey Grange (Methuen, Mass.) leading the way with five shots.
Jessica Clark (Barnstable, Mass.) and Katie Mitchell (Deer Park, N.Y.) split the duties in goal, with Clark making two saves, and Mitchell stopping three.
The Bulldogs (8-4-1, 5-3-1 NE-10) will visit New Haven Sunday (1 p.m.).
