Women's Soccer Loses 2-0 at New Haven
West Haven, Conn. - The Bryant University women's soccer team lost 2-0 Sunday afternoon at New Haven's Robert B. Dodds Stadium.
Senior Crystal Lindsay scored twice in rapid succession in the
first half, and the University of New Haven clamped down on defense
for a 2-0 win over the Bulldogs.
Goalkeeper Maureen MacConnell made nine saves to record her
26th career shutout and third consecutive shutout this week as UNH
improved to 8-3-1 overall. The loss dropped Bryant to 8-5-1,
snapping a three-match win streak.
The Bulldogs were able to control the tempo for much of the game,
especially at the start of the second half when they pressed the
attack into the UNH zone a majority of the time. Bryant shot 20
times to just six for UNH.

Park,
N.Y.) made one save in net for
the Bulldogs in the loss, while Casey Grange
(Methuen,
Mass.) led the offense with eight
shots.
