Spada Scores Game-Winner in 82nd Minute in 2-1 over Stonehill

SOUTH EASTON, MA. - Senior tri-captain Tricia Spada (Dedham, MA.) scored the game-winning goal in the 82nd minute to give the Bryant women's soccer team the 2-1 victory over Stonehill College Wednesday afternoon in a Northeast-10 Conference match.

The reigning conference Player of the Week scored her fourth goal in as many matches, beating Skyhawk netminder Alex Eckhardt with just seven minutes remaining in regulation.

Spada's classmate, Diane Pascale (Plymouth, MA.) got the Bulldogs on the board early with her first goal of the season in the 25th minute. The reigning NE-10 Freshman of the Week Sarah Donovan (Storrs, CT) picked up the assist on Pascale's tally.

Jessica Neales (Swansea, MA.) returned to the net and picked up the win, making two saves. The Bulldogs outshot Stonehill 15-4 in the match.

With the victory, the Bulldogs remain unbeaten in 2007, with a 4-0-1 mark, 1-0 in the conference. They will host #5 Franklin Pierce Saturday night (7 p.m.) at the Bryant Turf Complex in a big conference matchup.
