SMITHFIELD, R.I. - The Bryant University women's soccer team's Sunday match against George Washington University has been moved to Mount Vernon Field in Washington, D.C. due to poor field conditions at Navy's Glenn Warner Soccer Facility. Kickoff is tentatively scheduled for 3:15 p.m.

The Bulldogs and the Colonials were originally scheduled to face off in Annapolis, Md., as part of the Navy Invitational on Sunday at 11:30 a.m., but concerns over the playability of the pitch resulted in a change of venue for both teams.

The Black and Gold will be looking to rebound from a 5-2 defeat against host school Navy on Friday evening.  Senior forward Kaitlyn Hinck (Bow, N.H.) scored early in the first half to give Bryant an early lead, and rookie striker Suzanne Sanders (Westchester, Pa.) netted her first collegiate marker late in the second half to account for the Bulldogs' scoring.

The Colonials (2-4) fell to Davidson, 4-2, on Friday afternoon in a match changed to their home field at Mount Vernon. Sierra Smidinger and Adriana Moya tallied first-half goals for GW, but the Wildcats netted three unanswered goals in the second half for the victory.

Bryant and George Washington have faced off just once before - during the 2008 season when GW earned a 3-2 victory at Mount Vernon Field.
