Women's soccer to host summer camps

Women's soccer announces summer camp dates

SMITHFIELD, R.I. – The Bryant University women's soccer team has unveiled its official dates for its 2012 summer camps and clinics.

The Bryant Women's Soccer Academy (BSA) will host two single-day scout clinics on June 13 and 14 before holdings its annual overnight academy on July 30 to Aug. 1.

The BSA Scout Clinics are geared toward high school players who are interested in attending Bryant University in the future. At each single-day clinic, players will receive two on-field training sessions from the camp staff. The clinic will end with a game session that will be viewed by Bulldog soccer coaching staff, as well as visiting college coaches. Enrollment is limited to the first 30 players to ensure quality instruction and evaluation.

Cost for the single-day clinics in June is $120 and runs from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on each day.

The Bulldog Soccer Overnight Academy is geared toward girls of age 15-18 who want to get to the next level in the game of soccer. BSA is an intense, three-day residential training camp that will focus on both the technical and tactical sides of the game. Enrollment is limited to the first 75 campers to ensure quality instruction. 

Cost for the three-day camp is $400 with discounts offered to teams with 12 or more players.
