Women's soccer announces spring schedule

BULLDOGS ANNOUNCE FIVE-GAME SPRING SLATE BEGINNING MARCH 22 AT HOME VS. AIC

SMITHFIELD, R.I. – Coming off a record-setting 2012 season, the Bryant University women's soccer team has officially announced its 2013 spring schedule.

The five-game slate will feature two games within the friendly confines of Bryant University, with three matches on the road. The Bulldogs will welcome former Northeast-10 (DII) rival AIC on March 22 (7 p.m.) and America East-foe Boston University on April 21 at 6 p.m.

The Black and Gold will hit the road for a trio of road games during the spring, heading to Northeastern on March 26 (6:30 p.m.), URI on April 6 at 7 p.m. and familiar opponent Holy Cross on April 17 ( 7p.m.).

"This spring will be important for us," said head coach Chris Flint. "We will be able to use it as an opportunity to see who can fill some of the positions vacated by the seniors."

"It gives us a great chance to move some people around and try some players at different positions to give us a better idea of what our team will look like come fall."
