DeBenedictis earns NEWISA All-New England honor

SMITHFIELD, R.I. – Adding to the list of accolades from her breakout sophomore campaign, second-year defender Allison DeBenedictis (Norwell, Mass.) of the Bryant University women's soccer team was named to the New England Women's Intercollegiate Soccer Association All-New England Division I Third Team, announced the NEWISA earlier this week.

A 2013 first team All-Northeast Conference selection, DeBenedictis started all 19 games for the Black and Gold this fall, finishing the year with six points on one tally and a team-best four helpers. The Norwell, Mass., native also became the first-ever player in Bryant women's soccer program history to earn a first team All-NEC honor.
