Bulldogs and Bonnies match up for the first time Saturday at 2:00 p.m.

SMITHFIELD, R.I. – The Bryant University women's soccer team wraps up its non-conference slate of games when it travels to St. Bonaventure for a 2:00 p.m. start on Saturday, September 23.

The Bulldogs (4-5) are coming off of a tough 2-1 defeat to Hartford this past Sunday at home, but find themselves 3-2 in games played away from Smithfield. The Bonnies (2-5-1) were 2-2-1 as of September 9 following wins over Niagara (4-1) and Youngstown St. (6-0), but have dropped three straight, as they have been outscored, 7-0, over the stretch.

Junior midfielder Haley Reddish (Natick, Mass.) netted the first home goal for Bryant since August 21 in the loss to Hartford. The goal was assisted by a cross from the left wing courtesy of freshman forward Remi Manna (Pleasantville, N.Y.), who leads the Bulldogs with five points (2g, 1a), as Reddish is second with four. Despite netting her only goal and tallying her only assist in August, sophomore Alison Guilmette (Coventry, R.I.) has been aggressive on the offensive end in September. She has fired off 11 shots through five games in the month.

Although she sits ninth in goals-against average in the Atlantic 10, freshman keeper Lauren Malcolm has turned away 42 shots, good for second in the league. Her 5.25 saves for contest rank third in the conference. The defense in front of Malcolm is led by senior Jennifer Morris, who has started all eight games this season and has two points on a pair of assists that both came in the win over Youngstown St. Also along the backline is freshman Maddie Mason and junior Brittany Tubiolo whom have each started six of the eight games they have appeared in, as the latter tallied an assist in the 6-0 win.

The Bonnies' offense is charged by junior forward Danielle Vis and sophomore mid Marley Jarvis with six points apiece on three goals and two goals and two assists, respectively. Freshman forward Sydney Cerza has pitched in five points on two goals and a helper, while classmate Bella May has totaled four points on two goals.

Aiming to earn a fourth road clean sheet is senior Kaylan Conrad (Avon, Conn.). She leads the Northeast Conference in goals-against average (0.919), save percentage (0.843) and shutouts.
