Women's soccer spring academic update

SMITHFIELD, R.I. – The Bryant University women's soccer team enjoyed a productive offseason, as well as a successful spring semester in the classroom, bolstering a team GPA of 3.61, while 22 student-athletes were named to the Dean's List.

After posting a 3.55 team GPA in the fall, the Bulldogs continued their academic success in the offseason. All 27 members of the roster finished the spring semester with a 3.0 or better, including 22 that were named to the Dean's List (3.40 or better). Redshirt junior Hannah Crofut (East Amherst, N.Y.) and freshman Kelly Morrissey (Hingham, Mass.) both earned a 4.0 this spring.

In addition, senior Kianna Woods (Stafford Springs, Conn.) was awarded the Environmental Science Leadership Award at graduation. The award is presented to an outstanding graduating senior in environmental science who has excelled in the classroom and laboratory, exhibited leadership in initiatives for improving sustainability at Bryant, and shown potential for valuable contributions to the environmental field.
