Bulldogs defense records sixth shutout in 1-0 win over LIU Brooklyn

SMITHFIELD, R.I. – Senior Haley Reddish (Natick, Mass.) was able to beat the keeper from distance in the 72nd minute and the Bryant University women's soccer team's defense kept their sixth clean sheet of the season in a 1-0 defeat of LIU Brooklyn on Friday afternoon.

"I thought our team delivered a very focused and balanced performance today. There was very good connection throughout our defense and our passing was sharp, creating a lot of good scoring opportunities, particularly in the second half."

  • Reddish hit senior Alyssa Riccione's (Mohnton, Pa.) pass first-time and it went off the fists of LIU goalkeeper Aline Allmann and across the goal line to give the Bulldogs all they would need to earn all three points.
