Coach Biggs' Comments

"I was pleased with our effort. I felt we defended their restarts really well and we did a good job of limiting their chances at goal. I thought we created some really good opportunities for us. It was a game that could've gone either way. I think two good teams played quite a competitive game throughout the day. Credit to them for scoring when they could. The goals will come if we continue to do the right things and we're doing the right things for sure."

Key Moment

  • In what was the lone goal of the game, Emily Hogan played the ball forward to Jenna Rae Covello, who was able to control the ball and fire it near post to give the Blue Devils the lead.

Scoring Summary

  • 60th minute – Central Connecticut 1, Bryant 0 – Hogan's ball split a couple of Bryant defenders and they were able to recover, but Covello was able to strike the ball purely into the net.
