Bulldogs to participate in Going Gold for Pediatric Cancer Jamboree Sunday

SMITHFIELD, R.I. – Bryant University women's soccer will be participating in the Going Gold for Pediatric Cancer Jamboree on Sunday, starting at 9 a.m. at the University of New Haven.

The Bulldogs will be competing with New Haven, Bridgeport and Stony Brook to raise awareness and money for pediatric cancer, with all funds going to the For Kids Sake Foundation.

Bryant will face Stony Brook at 10 a.m., then Bridgeport at Noon and New Haven at 2 p.m. in a day full of soccer.

"We are really looking forward to take part in the Going Gold for Pediatric Cancer round-robin," head coach Andy Biggs said. "The team has been working hard at practice and we are excited to apply our work in games against three quality opponents. The chance to play while also supporting an organization, For Kids Sake, that has meant so much to [our Team IMPACT teammate] Malia and her family is a wonderful opportunity for all of us."

The For Kids Sake Foundation is dedicated to providing support for children and the families of children with life-threatening illnesses and/or injuries, support to entities, institutions and/or organizations dedicated to supporting children's charities and/or causes.
