Benz selected for NEWISA Senior Bowl

SMITHFIELD, R.I. – Senior Rachel Benz (Stamford, Conn.) from the Bryant University women's soccer team was selected to participate in the New England Women's Intercollegiate Soccer Association Senior Bowl. The NEWISA Senior Bowl is an all-star game for seniors from colleges and universities in New England.

Benz appeared in all 16 games for the Black and Gold during her senior season compiling two goals. The Connecticut native finished her career with three goals and two assists for eight career points.

Bryant is no stranger to the Senior Bowl as recent graduates Scout Benson (2015) and Haley Reddish (2017), were also selected for the game.

The Senior Bowl will be held at Merrimack College in North Andover, Mass. on December 1, 2018 at 12 p.m.
