Women's Soccer selected fourth in preseason poll

Somerset, N.J. - The Bryant Univeristy women's soccer team has been selected to finish fourth in the Northeast Conference by the organization on Tuesday.

Central Connecticut received nine first-place votes, followed by Fairleigh Dickinson, who received one. The rest of the poll consists of Sacred Heart, Bryant, Saint Francis, who earned a first-place vote, Merrimack, Long Island, NEC newcomer Howard, Mount St. Mary's, St. Francis Brooklyn, and Wagner.

This is the second consecutive season where the Bulldogs have been picked to finish fourth in the NEC. Last season the Black and Gold finished with a 3-5 record and placed fifth in the conference. 

The Bulldogs had five players named to the All-NEC team last year, including Kellie Errasti and Makayla Griffin, returning for the 2021 season. Head Coach Andy Biggs will be at the helm for his seventh season.

Bryant will open the 2021 season against Delaware St. in Smithfield on August 22nd.
