Coach Biggs' Comments

"We started well again today and used the ball smartly for the first 30 minutes or so. Our lead was well deserved, but our confidence wobbled in the final 15 minutes of the half, and we conceded the tying goal. In the second half, we fought for the whole 45 minutes, and despite some good attacking moments and a couple of very good chances, we never quite generated the consistent volume of pressure we needed to find the winning goal".

Key Moment

  • Both teams were scoreless in the second half.

Scoring Summary

  • 17th minute - Bryant 1, Merrimack 0 - The Bulldogs had a corner that the Warriors kicked away. Melissa Reef corraled the ball and lofted it over the defense, setting up Pedolzky, who shot it to the goalie's left.
  • 38th minute - Bryant 1, Merrimack 1 - The Warriors were awarded a free kick from 25 yards out, which the Merrimack forward shot to the left of the net for the score.
