Stemen named NEC Diver of the Week

SMITHFIELD, R.I. – Bryant University women's swimming and diving sophomore Carissa Stemen (Naples, Fla.) has been named the Northeast Conference Diver of the Week, the league announced on Tuesday afternoon.

Stemen had a strong showing against Providence College last Friday, winning the first 1-meter diving event of the evening with 243.37 points. She went on to finish third in the second 1 meter event, posting a score of 231.00. Stemen is the second-straight Bryant diver to earn the league's weekly honor.
