SMITHFIELD, R.I. – The Bryant University women's swimming and diving team fell to Boston University, 122-83, on Sunday afternoon at the Chace Athletic Center Pool.

The Bulldogs honored their four-member senior class prior to the meet. Bryant has one more dual meet, February 4th vs. Rhode Island, before it begins preparations for the Northeast Conference Championships that run from Feb. 15-18 in Cambridge, Mass.

On Sunday, the Black and Gold received first-place performances from Taylor Poliseno (Stevenson Ranch, Calif.), Jillian Rice (Trumbull, Conn.) and Alaina Scifo (Ipswich, Great Britain). Poliseno took home the 100 fly on Senior Day, while Rice won the 100 free and Scifo won the 100 back.

Rice also placed second in the 50 free as she was out-touched at the wall. She posted a time of 24.79 but BU's Christy Wilde touched in a time of 24.71. Mackenzie Kirk (San Jose, Calif.) and Erin Daly (Reading, Mass.) finished 2-3 in the 1000 free, while Eliza Brant (Hauppauge, N.Y.) finished second in the 200 IM.

The Bulldogs return to the Chace Center Pool when they welcome Rhode Island on Saturday, Nov. 4. The meet will begin at 11:00 a.m.
