Bulldogs, Bucknell set for Friday night clash

SMITHFIELD, R.I. – The Bryant University women's swimming and diving team looks to continue the success from a strong performance against Boston College into a Friday night affair with Bucknell at the Chace Athletic Center Pool.

Last Time Out

Bryant started hot and kept it going in a 156-144 victory over Boston College on Friday night. Alaina Scifo (Ipswich, Great Britain) won four races on the night and Kelci Abernethy (Chandler, Ariz.) won the 3-Meter dive portion of the event.

Last Meet with Bucknell

  • This is the first dual meet ever between the Bison and the Bulldogs.

A bit about the Bison

  • Six Bison combined to win 10 events during Bucknell's first meet of the season against UMBC.
  • Maggie Wyngowski's 400 IM victory was a highlight for the Bison, as she posted the seventh-fastest time in school history in her first collegiate meet.
  • The Bison posted 11 runner-up finishes in individual events and two in relays.
  • In 2016-17, the Bison finished 4-7, placing fifth at the Patriot League Championship and second at the ECAC Championships.
