Scifo picks up third-straight NEC Swimmer of the Week

SMITHFIELD, R.I. – Bryant University women's swimming and diving junior Alaina Scifo (Ipswich, Great Britain) was named the Northeast Conference Swimmer of the Week for the third-straight week on Tuesday.

Scifo's honor comes after she won two individual events at the Harold Anderson Invitational. She claimed the 500 free with a time of 5:05.08 and the 200 back with a time of 2:06.10.

In addition, Alexa Rivera (Boynton Beach, Fla.) and Kelci Abernethy (Chandler, Ariz.) were named NEC Prime Performers. Rivera won the B final of the 200 IM and finished fifth in the 200 back. Abernethy won the 3-meter dive with a score 219.35.
