Rivera named NEC Swimmer of the Week

Somerset. N.J. - Alexa Rivera of the Bryant University women's swimming and diving team has been named the Northeast Conference Swimmer of the Week by the organization on Thursday.

Rivera kicked off the 2021 season with a victory in the 100 fly and 50 free by recording times of 58.75 and 24.99. She also helped the Bulldogs earn two second-place finishes in the 200 medley and 400 free relays. This is the third time in Rivera's career that she has earned this award.

The Black and Gold will compete against Central Connecticut this Saturday.
