Quartet earn CSC Academic All-District honors

GREENWOOD, IN - Four members of the Bryant University women's swimming & diving team were named to the 2023-24 College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team on Tuesday afternoon by the organization.

Seniors Jillian Stevens, Natalia Kuipers, and Julia Stenhard as well as sophomore Makayla Pearce all earned the honor after excelling in the pool and the classroom during the 2023-24 season.

The quartet had an average GPA of 3.83, highlighted by Jillian Stevens' nearly perfect GPA of 3.99. In the pool, the group took home seven medals and four more top-8 finishes at the America East Championships.

In order to qualify for the CSC Academic All-District Team, athletes must be at least a sophomore, have at least a 3.50 GPA, and either compete in four competitions or have a top-8 finish at a conference meet.
