BRYANT WOMEN'S TENNIS FALLS TO ARMY 7-0
The Bryant University women's tennis team dropped a 7-0 decision at Army on Sunday morning as the Cadets swept through doubles to open the match and came away with straight-set wins in singles play.
Transfer Claudia Hidalgo dropped her first match after three wins at No. 1 singles since joining the program from SMU as she would fall to Army's Patricia Vollmer, 6-1, 6-3 at No. 1 singles. Morganne Downing fell to Jurelle Mendoza 6-3, 6-2 while Valeria Couto Cuervo dropped a 7-5, 6-2 decision to Maria Casaletto at No. 3.
