Bulldogs battle Seawolves in Providence, Friday at 5:30 p.m.

SMITHFIELD, R.I. – Coming off two tough battles with Boston University and Brown, the Bryant University women's tennis team looks to take home a win against Stony Brook, Friday night in Providence.

The Seawolves (2-1) are coming off a two-game winning streak, defeating Lehigh, 6-1, on Feb. 12, before beating LIU Brooklyn by the same margin on Feb. 13. Stony Brook was handed its first loss of the season against Connecticut on Feb. 6, dropping, 5-2, to the Huskies. The contest marks the third meeting between the Seawolves and Bulldogs in Division I play, with Stony Brook finding the most recent win, 6-0, on March 9, 2013. The Seawolves lead the series, 3-0, in spring season play.

Action is set to begin between the Bulldogs and Seawolves on Friday at 5:30 in Providence.
