Women's tennis hosts Stonehill Friday at home
SMITHFIELD, R.I. – The Bryant University women's tennis team welcomes Stonehill to the Bryant Tennis Courts on Friday afternoon. First serve is set for 2:00 p.m.
A bit about the Bulldogs
- Bryant has played in two tournaments so far this season – the Quinnipiac Invitational and the Army Invitational.
- Junior Aleksi Gottlieb (Plantation, Fla.) has gone 5-2 in the first two tournaments.
- Freshman Leanne Kendall (Lakeville, Mass.) has posted a 4-2 mark in the first two weekends of her collegiate career.
- Sophomore Arianna Oropeza (Weston, Fla.) has also collected four victories on the year.
A bit about Stonehill
- The Skyhawks are ranked No. 42 in the most recent Oracle/ITA Division II national rankings.
- Isabelle Porter is ranked No. 15 in the East Region after going 6-0 in singles and doubles action last weekend.
- Porter is 15-3 overall on the year, posting an 8-1 mark in singles.
