Oropeza named NEC Player of the Month

SMITHFIELD, R.I. – Bryant University women's tennis sophomore Arianna Oropeza (Weston, Fla.) has been named the Northeast Conference Player of the Month.

Oropeza picks up the honor after she posted a perfect record in the month of October. She Stonehill's Isabelle Porter, an All-NE10 First Teamer and a regionally ranked performer in 2017-18, 6-4, 6-2 at No. 1 singles. Oropeza added a victory over UC Irvine's Mackensen, 6-0, 6-4. In doubles play, she teamed with Caterina Luisa Rokke (Oslo, Norway) in a win over Stonehill.

In addition, junior Megan Tan (Calgary, Alberta) was named an NEC Prime Performer. Tan went 2-0 in singles play and 1-0 in doubles action.
