Women's tennis welcomes Class of 2023

SMITHFIELD, R.I. -- Bryant University women's tennis head coach Barbara Cilli is pleased to welcome her Class of 2023 to campus this fall. 

Manuela Gomez Estrada – Guayaquil, Ecuador

Before Bryant
Estrada attended Unidad Educativa Delta in Ecuador … Was a national champion in singles and doubles from 2012-2017 … COSAT champion in singles and doubles in 2013, 2014 and 2015 … Champion of the National Master in 2015 … Champion in doubles of the Gogo Open ITF in 2016 … Runner up in doubles at both ITF in Quito and ITF GoGo … Selected to play in Fed Cup qualification … Valedictorian of her graduating class … Received five academic excellence honors.

Personal
The daughter of Andres Gomez and Ana Estrada … Has three brothers and one sister … All four siblings played tennis collegiately at the Division I level.

Marisa Minjarez – Rancho Cordova, Calif. | Vista Del Lago

Before Bryant
Minjarez played two seasons of varsity tennis at Vista Del Lago … Sectional Finalist … All-Star Athlete … Ranked No. 36 in the state of California coming out of high school.
