Bryant opens season with 7-0 win over Brandeis
GREENVILLE, R.I. -- The Bryant University women's tennis team opened its spring season with a 7-0 victory over Brandeis on Saturday night at Rally Point.
How it Happened
- Brandeis was limited to just five players due to COVID-19 protocols.
- The Bulldogs won the doubles point by winning at No. 1 and No. 2. Ada Boru and Leanne Kendall won at the top spot and Sarah Hickey and Manuela Gomez Estrada won at No. 2.
- In singles, Boru, Hickey, Kendall, Caitlyn Munson and Camila Baeza all won in straight sets.
- Hickey enjoyed a battle at No. 2, winning her second set in a tie break, 7-6 (13-11).
